Walking the Healing Labyrinth
Celebrate Fall Equinox
For each of us the search is different. Some seek healing of the
body, a release from physical pain. Others seek release from emotional
trauma, abuse, abandonment, anger or fear. There are those on a
path of forgiveness and those on the path of prayer. There are many
reasons to walk the sacred path.
The labyrinth is a simple unicursal walk towards a center of stillness
where answers may be found. One travels a winding path drawn on
Mother Earth, in and back again, in a journey which becomes a living
metaphor representing all paths healing and wholeness. Join us in
this profound and centering exercise of communal prayer and healing:
a ritual of the embodiment of true Peace.

The Magdalene and the Goddess
Exploring the DA Vinci Code
If you are like many other readers the world over, you may have
been both shocked and intrigued by the revelations in Dan Brown’s
best selling book, THE DA VINCI CODE.
And like many other women the world over, the information shared
in his book may have struck a chord of recognition deep within…
was the Magdalene truly the Bride of Christ? Is there truly a conspiracy
among those in power to subvert the teachings of the wise feminine
voice?
Who is “the Goddess” and what does that mean for me,
as a woman, and for the world at this time of transition.

Shaman
When Spirits ride the wind
Shamanic Journey Work
What is Shamanism
Worldwide, spiritual healers called “shamans” (from
a Siberian word for a type of medicine person) have the ability
to commune with both the conscious, physical reality we presently
inhabit, as well as an alternate reality in which spirits of animals,
plants, human, and non-human guides await to help us find answers
towards emotional, spiritual and physical healing. Modern research
has shown that this ability to “shamanize” is alive
and well and just as applicable today just as it was for our ancestors.
How does it work?
Shamanic visioning is a lot like lucid dreaming. When we hold a
posture we change the neural pathways to the brain and move beyond
our bodies into the realm of spirit. Information is gained through
an experience of color, symbols and images which the facilitator
helps the visioner understand. Deep and profound information is
gathered in this way
The Process
In his workshop we will focus on two postures, Calling the Spirit
Guides and Healing Bear Posture. Accompanied by drumming or the
sound of the rattle we assist the spirit in moving beyond the body
to the realms between the worlds. Wear comfortable clothing and
bring your journal. It is recommended, thought not necessary to
eat lightly or fast before coming to this event to assist in visioning:
bring a snack.
